Marvellous Melbourne

I've added a new photo album called Marvellous Melbourne. You tend to take the city you live in for granted. Lately I've started to look at it much like a tourist might, and taking the odd snap. This is a work in progress - I expect I'll be adding to it in the weeks ahead.

Worth a thousand words

I've just posted some pics of the NZ trip to the album on the side. I took about 200 photos while I was away, and have selected just over a dozen to appear here.

The photos you see are much reduced in size from the original. They were taken either with a pocket sized 4 megapixel digital camera, or, more often, my big psuedo-SLR 8 megapixel Sony. This takes beautiful shots - it's one of the best things I've ever bought. The images are crisp and colours more vivid than any other camera I've had.

Anyway, the point of all this is that the full sized pics are pretty big and, in some instances, pretty impressive. Should anyone be interested I'm willing to forward a full sized version of any of the images you see here.
